Atari estimated revenue of about $36 million for the year to Mar 31, 2025, up about 60%
The unaudited estimate was published on May 28, 2025 in a release listed by France's market regulator; the company said about $29 million of it was expected to come from games.
Atari said on May 28, 2025 that its revenues for the 12 months from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 were expected to reach about $36 million. Atari gave the figure as an estimate that had not been audited. The AMF, France's financial markets regulator, listed the release as inside information, the label for news a listed company must publish as soon as it can because it may move its share price. The company described the result as growth of about 60% on the previous year. The release gave the euro equivalent as about €33 million at the year's average exchange rate, and the reported revenues of fiscal year 2024 as €20.6 million.1,2,3,4,5,6,7
Of the total, about $29 million was expected to come from games, a line the release said included Atari Games, Digital Eclipse, Nightdive and Infogrames. The company said the growth was driven primarily by continued strong momentum in games. Chairman and chief executive Wade Rosen said the year's performance marked an important milestone in the execution of the company's retro-focused growth strategy. The release said Atari released more than a half-dozen titles in the year, including Yars Rising and Breakout Beyond, and that it also released RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic for Nintendo Switch. On the hardware side it cited the release of the Atari 7800+ retro console and 10 new game cartridges.8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15
The company tied the result to a strategic refocus it began in 2022 under new leadership. In the three years before the release, it said, Atari revamped its game portfolio, restructured its hardware operations around partnerships and licensing, and bought the studios Digital Eclipse and Nightdive Studios. It said Atari relaunched the Infogrames publishing label in April 2024. The company called it a second straight year of top-line growth and said the result brought revenues to their highest level in over a decade. On that day Atari also gave an outlook for the fiscal year that was to end on March 31, 2026: it said it anticipated a continuation of its high-growth trajectory.16,17,18,19,20
