Nacon said on Mar 3, 2026 that a court had opened judicial reorganisation proceedings, known in French as redressement judiciaire, for the company. According to the company, the Lille Métropole Commercial Court decided on this after a hearing held on Mar 2. SELARL FHBX, represented by Hélène Bourbouloux, and SELARL BMA, represented by Laurent Miquel, were appointed as judicial administrators with an assistance mandate, the company said. Nacon said its operations would continue during the observation period.123456

The company said it had asked Euronext to resume trading in its shares from Mar 4, at the opening of trading. It said further press releases would follow as its situation and the proceedings evolved.78

The step followed Nacon's release of Feb 25, in which it said it would file for insolvency with the Lille Métropole Commercial Court and ask the court to open judicial reorganisation proceedings. The company described these proceedings as collective proceedings under French law in which liabilities that arose before the opening judgment are frozen for the observation period, which may last up to 18 months. During that period, it said, the debtor could propose a continuation plan to restructure its debt. Nacon said the purpose was to find solutions that let it continue its business, renegotiate its debt with creditors and protect its employees, and that it intended to keep its operational activities going as far as possible.491011

Nacon described itself as bringing together 16 development studios, AA game publishing and the design and distribution of premium gaming peripherals, with 25 subsidiaries and a distribution network in 100 countries. In its annual figures for the year to Mar 31, 2025, it reported revenue of €167.95 million, against €167.71 million the year before. Operating income was €1.11 million, against €20.88 million, and it reported a net loss of €1.34 million, against a net income of €17.53 million.1213141516171819
