Nacon said on Oct 26, 2026 that its sales for the second quarter of its 2026-2027 financial year, July to September, were €40.7 million. That is 13.0% below the same quarter a year earlier, which the company's table puts at 46.8 in millions of euros. For the first half, April to September, the table shows 73.3 against 78.1 a year earlier, in millions of euros, a fall of 6.1%. The AMF, the French markets regulator, files the release as inside information, a category for statements a listed company must publish promptly because they may move its share price.12345

In millions of euros, games sales were 27.8 against 36.7, a fall of 24.4%. Within them, catalogue sales, the company's term for new games, were €13.7 million against €22.8 million in the same quarter a year earlier, a fall of 40.0%. The company said the very strong performances of The Mound, which it called already among its largest launches, and of its Tour de France game were masked by an exceptionally high base of comparison: the second quarter of 2025-2026 saw the release of the three major games of that financial year, Hell is Us, Rugby League and RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business. Back catalogue, the company's term for games released in previous financial years, brought in €14.1 million in the quarter, up 0.9% on the same quarter of the previous financial year. Accessories brought in €11.6 million, up 28.7% on the same period in 2025-2026, which the company said confirmed the recovery of the US market and the success of the new RIG headset ranges.6789101112

The release recalled that the Lille Métropole Commercial Court opened judicial reorganisation proceedings for Nacon by a judgment dated Mar 2, 2026. A judgment dated Jul 1, 2026 extended the observation period until Mar 2, 2027. The company said it had started to prepare a reorganisation plan, including a restructuring of its liabilities, to be submitted shortly to the court, and that it had published the main terms and deadlines of its financial restructuring on Sep 22, 2026. Its update on the redeployment plan reported the effective closure of three entities, restructuring finalized in two studios, and staff down from 1,125 employees on Mar 31, 2026 to 814 on Sep 30, 2026, with a 28% decrease at headquarters.131415161718

For the third quarter, the company said it would benefit from end-of-year sales, new additions to its accessories range and the release of several major games, including MXGP 26, released on Oct 1, Hunting Simulator 3, scheduled for release on Oct 29, and Edge of Memories, to be released on Dec 3. It gave Nov 30, 2026 as the date of its first-half results.1920212223
