Revenue$12.86 billion
Operating income−$3.18 billion
Net income attributable to shareholders−$2.92 billion
Quarter endedJun 28, 2025

Intel reported revenue of $12.86 billion for the quarter that ended Jun 28, 2025, against $12.83 billion a year earlier, up 0.2%. Operating income, the profit from running the business before interest and tax, was a loss of $3.18 billion, against a loss of $1.96 billion a year earlier. The net loss attributable to Intel’s shareholders was $2.92 billion, against $1.61 billion a year earlier, or $0.67 a share against $0.38. Counting non-controlling interests, the other holders’ share of its subsidiaries, the net loss was $3.02 billion. The figures are in Intel’s 10-Q, the quarterly report a listed US company files with the Securities and Exchange Commission, filed on Jul 24, 2025, the day Intel released the results.1234567891011121314

Intel said it recognized $1.9 billion in restructuring charges in the quarter, excluded from its non-GAAP results, and about $800 million of non-cash impairment and accelerated depreciation charges tied to excess tools, plus about $200 million of one-time period costs. The release said Intel had completed most of the planned headcount actions to cut its core workforce by about 15%, and planned to end the year with about 75,000 core employees. A Form 8-K filed the same day said the audit committee of Intel’s board had approved an enterprise-wide initiative on Jul 10, 2025, and that the company expected its headcount reductions to cut its core workforce by 15% by the end of fiscal 2025. The company also said it would no longer move forward with planned projects in Germany and Poland and would further slow construction in Ohio.1516171819202122

Client Computing Group revenue was $7.87 billion, down 3.3% from $8.14 billion a year earlier. Data Center and AI revenue was $3.94 billion, up 3.5%. Intel said the first Panther Lake processor remained on track to begin shipping later that year, with more models coming in the first half of 2026. Intel said that after an organizational change in the first quarter of 2025, prior-period segment data was retrospectively adjusted and its consolidated statements for prior periods were unchanged.2324252627282930

Intel’s own non-GAAP measure, which left out items such as the restructuring charges, was a loss of $0.10 a share; it is not the GAAP loss of $0.67 a share above. In the same release the company forecast third-quarter 2025 revenue of $12.6 billion to $13.6 billion.311532
