Bilibili’s second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 8% to RMB7.94 billion while mobile games revenue fell 14%
The Chinese video platform said a high base from San Guo: Mou Ding Tian Xia, a title now moving into a stable and mature life cycle, mainly explained the fall in its mobile games revenue.
On Aug 27, 2026, Bilibili, which describes itself as a leading video community for young generations in China, reported unaudited results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, in a Form 6-K, the filing a company based outside the US uses to pass the SEC the news it has published elsewhere. Total net revenues were RMB7.94 billion (US$1.17 billion), up 8% from the same period of 2025. Net profit was RMB339.1 million (US$50.0 million), up 55%; that figure includes non-controlling interests, which took a loss of RMB4.7 million, and the profit attributable to Bilibili’s shareholders was RMB343.7 million.1,2,3,4,5,6,7
Revenue from mobile games was RMB1.39 billion (US$205.1 million), down 14% from the same period of 2025. Bilibili said the fall was mainly due to a high base effect, meaning the comparison was with a prior-year period in which San Guo: Mou Ding Tian Xia had performed exceptionally, and it said the title was now moving into a stable and mature life cycle. The interim results announcement to the Hong Kong exchange, filed as Exhibit 99.2 to the same 6-K and covering the six months ended June 30, 2026, put first-half mobile games revenue at RMB2.91 billion, down 13% from a year earlier. It said evergreen titles, including Fate/Grand Order and Azur Lane, continued to deliver stable performance in the first half. In July 2026, Bilibili launched NCard, an exclusively licensed casual card game. The announcement also said it had unveiled several new titles with regulatory approvals, including the self-developed simulation game Lumi Master and two licensed games, the strategy game San Wang and the online role-playing game Ragnarok Online 3.8,9,10,11,12,13,14
Games were among the five largest advertising verticals in the first half of the year, and the announcement said total watch time for game-related content increased by 23% year over year. Advertising revenue was RMB3.13 billion (US$461.4 million), up 28%, and value-added services revenue was RMB2.97 billion (US$437.3 million), up 5%. Bilibili also reported adjusted net profit of RMB703.6 million (US$103.7 million), up 25%. That was a non-GAAP measure, meaning the company defined it outside US accounting rules, and it left out share-based compensation, amortization of intangible assets from acquisitions and the related income tax, losses from changes in the fair value of investments in publicly traded companies and a loss on repurchasing convertible senior notes.
