Operating income−$296.54 million
Net income attributable to shareholders−$255.63 million
Quarter endedSep 30, 2025

Roblox reported revenue of $1.36 billion for the quarter to Sep 30, 2025, 48% more than the $918.95 million of the same quarter a year earlier. The company filed the figures in its quarterly report, a Form 10-Q, on Oct 30, 2025. The operating loss was $296.54 million, against $278.93 million a year earlier. The net loss attributable to shareholders was $255.63 million, or $0.37 a share, against $239.32 million and $0.37 a year earlier. The consolidated net loss, which also counts a minority investor's share of the company's Roblox China subsidiary, was $257.37 million.12345678910111213

Roblox said the revenue increase came mainly from revenue recognized on the quarter's bookings and from a higher amortization of earlier deferred revenue. Bookings, its own non-GAAP measure of sales activity before certain non-cash adjustments, reached $1.92 billion against $1.13 billion a year earlier, and the shareholder letter put the rise at 70%. The company also pointed to consumable virtual items, which made up 22% of virtual-item revenue against 8% a year earlier, and to more daily paying users: about 2,250,000 on average against about 1,143,000. Average daily active users grew 70% to 151.5 million, the letter said.14151617181920

For games, the letter pointed to continued success for Grow a Garden and the rise of two new viral experiences, Steal a Brainrot and 99 Nights in the Forest. It added that Grow a Garden set what was then a record in July at nearly 22 million concurrent players, and that Steal a Brainrot passed 25 million concurrent players. Developer exchange fees, the expense for what developers and creators in the company's Developer Exchange Program earn, rose 85% to $427.93 million from $231.54 million. The company said they outgrew bookings mainly because of differential Robux pricing, the launch of Creator Rewards in July 2025 and an 8.5% rise in the rate at which earned Robux convert to cash from Sep 5. The letter said creators earned more than $1 billion in only nine months, a goal the company had set for the full year.2122232425262728

Revenue was $1.04 billion in the quarter to Mar 31, 2025 and $1.08 billion in the quarter to Jun 30, 2025. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure that starts from the consolidated net loss and leaves out interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, and stock-based pay among other items, was $45.7 million against $55.0 million a year earlier. For the fourth quarter, management guided to revenue of $1,350 million to $1,400 million and bookings of $2,000 million to $2,050 million.2930313233
