Mobileye, which develops driver-assistance and autonomous-driving technology, said in a quarterly report filed on Apr 24, 2025 that its revenue for the quarter ended Mar 29, 2025 was $438 million, up 83% from $239 million a year earlier. That report is a Form 10-Q, the quarterly filing a US-listed company makes to the SEC. The operating loss was $117 million against $238 million a year earlier, and the net loss was $102 million against $218 million. Diluted earnings per share were a loss of $0.13, against a loss of $0.27 a year earlier.123456789101112

Mobileye said the comparison was with an unusually low first quarter of 2024, when its Tier 1 customers, the suppliers that sell to carmakers, were using up excess inventory. Sales of its EyeQ chips rose by $239 million, or 139%, on a 139% increase in volume, while revenue related to its SuperVision product fell by $43 million. It shipped about 8.5 million systems in the quarter, against about 3.6 million a year earlier, a rise it put on the normalization of its customers' excess inventory. Gross margin was 47%, against 23% a year earlier, which the company attributed to intangible-asset amortization weighing less as a share of revenue and to a lower share of SuperVision. Net research and development expenses rose by $32 million, or 13%, mainly on payroll costs after the average research and development headcount rose by 140 employees. Mobileye's own adjusted operating income, a non-GAAP measure that leaves out amortization of acquired intangibles and share-based compensation, was $59 million, against an adjusted operating loss of $65 million a year earlier.131415161718192021223

In an earnings release filed the same day, Mobileye said it was reaffirming its outlook for 2025: revenue of $1.69 billion to $1.81 billion and an operating loss of $489 million to $574 million, assuming no change in the automotive tariffs announced so far. It also said it expected second-quarter revenue to rise about 7% on the year. Its later filings put revenue for the quarter ended Jun 28, 2025 at $506 million, and revenue for the year 2025 at $1.89 billion with an operating loss of $440 million.23242526272829

The notes record that on Apr 16, 2025 a federal court in New York dismissed in full, without leave to amend, a putative securities class action against Mobileye and certain of its current and former officers over alleged misstatements about customers' excess inventory, and that the lead plaintiff had thirty days to file a notice of appeal.303132
