Quarter endedJun 30, 2025

Take-Two Interactive reported revenue of $1.5 billion for the quarter from Apr 1 to Jun 30, 2025, up 12.4% from the same quarter a year earlier. Its net loss was $11.9 million, or $0.07 a share, against a net loss of $262 million, or $1.52 a share, a year earlier. The company called this its fiscal first quarter of 2026, and set out the figures on Aug 7, 2025 in an earnings release and in its 10-Q, the quarterly report that US public companies file with the Securities and Exchange Commission.12345678

Take-Two said the revenue increase came mainly from Color Block Jam, released in November 2024, and from the NBA 2K franchise. Mobile revenue was $801.7 million, up from $722.5 million a year earlier, and made up 53.3% of the total; the company credited Color Block Jam for the rise. Grand Theft Auto products supplied 14.7% of net revenue in the quarter.910111213

Gross profit was 62.9% of revenue, against 57.6% a year earlier. The company said the rise came mainly from a reversal of expense on forfeited stock awards and lower amortization of intangible assets. Business reorganization, an expense line in its income statement, was a $4.2 million credit in the quarter, against a $49.5 million cost a year earlier; the 10-Q tied the credit to recovered costs on a title whose development was terminated under its 2024 Plan, a cost reduction program.14151617

Net bookings is Take-Two’s own operating metric, defined as the net amount of products and services sold digitally or physically in the period. It grew 17% to $1.42 billion, against $1.22 billion a year earlier, and came in above the company’s guidance range. In the release, Take-Two raised its net bookings outlook for fiscal year 2026 to between $6.05 and $6.15 billion, a forecast made on Aug 7, 2025. Chairman and chief executive Strauss Zelnick said the results reflected continuing demand for the company’s core franchises.18192021722

On Apr 14, 2025, the company repaid the debt it called its 2025 Notes; its cash flow statement showed $600 million of debt repaid in the quarter. On May 22, 2025, it sold shares of common stock to the public at $225.00 a share. Its cash flow statement showed $1,219.6 million from issuing common stock in the quarter, against $23.3 million a year earlier.23242526
