Take-Two's annual revenue rises 18% to $6.66 billion as its net loss narrows to $298.2 million

Net Bookings, the company's operating measure of products and services sold, grew 19% to $6.72 billion, and the 10-K says Grand Theft Auto VI is planned for Nov 19, 2026.

Revenue$6.66 billion
Operating income−$104.2 million
Net income−$298.2 million
Year endedMar 31, 2026

Take-Two Interactive reported net revenue of $6.66 billion for the fiscal year ended Mar 31, 2026, up 18% from $5.63 billion a year earlier. The figures come from its Form 10-K, the annual report a US-listed company files with the SEC, which Take-Two filed on May 22. It posted an operating loss of $104.2 million, against an operating loss of $4.39 billion the year before, and a net loss of $298.2 million against $4.48 billion. The 10-K ties the narrower operating loss to the absence of a goodwill impairment this year, and to higher sales; a goodwill impairment is a charge that writes down the value booked when a company bought other businesses, and the year before it came to $3.55 billion.123456789101112

Take-Two says its net revenue was led by NBA 2K, Grand Theft Auto, Borderlands, Red Dead Redemption and WWE 2K, and by the mobile games Toon Blast, Empires & Puzzles and Color Block Jam, among others. For the rise in net revenue, the 10-K names higher sales of NBA 2K, Borderlands, Color Block Jam, Toon Blast and Grand Theft Auto, and says the latest Borderlands, Borderlands 4, came out in September 2025. Net revenue from full game and other rose on Borderlands, Grand Theft Auto and Mafia: The Old Country, which came out in August 2025, partly offset by lower Civilization revenue.13141516

By platform, console revenue rose 24% to $2.60 billion, mobile rose 13% to $3.33 billion and PC and other rose 23% to $726.1 million. Recurrent consumer spending, which Take-Two says comes from ongoing engagement and includes virtual currency, add-on content, in-game purchases and in-game advertising, grew 16% to $5.20 billion and made up 78.1% of net revenue.17181920212223242526

Net Bookings is a separate measure from net revenue: Take-Two defines it as the net amount of products and services sold digitally or sold in physically during the period. In its earnings release of May 21, the company gave an initial outlook for fiscal 2027 Net Bookings of $8.0 to $8.2 billion. Rockstar, the 10-K says, plans to release Grand Theft Auto VI on Nov 19, 2026.27282930

We hold the text of the 10-K's management discussion rather than the whole filing, diluted earnings per share is left out here because our checks hold it back, and our records keep one value for each period of an SEC filer, so they cannot tell whether the year-earlier figures were restated.313233
