Quarter endedSep 30, 2025

AppLovin reported revenue of $1.41 billion for the quarter from Jul 1, 2025 to Sep 30, 2025, 68.2% more than the $835.19 million of the same quarter a year earlier. The figures are in its 10-Q, the quarterly report a US-listed company files with the SEC, filed on Nov 5, 2025. Revenue left out the former Apps business, which AppLovin sold to Tripledot on Jun 30, 2025 and reported as discontinued operations, the line for a business a company has sold or is selling. The report showed the Apps business’s year-earlier results as discontinued operations too, so the year-earlier revenue left it out as well.12345678

Management attributed the $569.9 million increase in revenue mainly to Axon Advertising, the product advertisers use to manage their spending on user acquisition: net revenue per installation rose 75%, partly offset by a 1% fall in installations. The company said Axon Advertising made up the vast majority of revenue. Its advertising clients ranged from indie developer studios to some of the largest global internet platforms, and 51% of the quarter’s revenue came from outside the United States. The company also saw opportunities to win clients outside mobile gaming, such as in e-commerce; in October 2025 it opened a public referral program for Axon Ads Manager, which it then expected to launch more broadly in the first half of 2026.91011121314

Operating income, the profit from running the business before interest and tax, was $1.08 billion, up 101.9% from $534.3 million a year earlier. Net income was $835.55 million against $434.42 million, up 92.3%, and diluted earnings per share were $2.45 against $1.25. From continuing operations, net income was $835.5 million, against $433.1 million. The filing’s discussion put a $150.7 million rise in the provision for income taxes mainly on higher pre-tax income and the global minimum tax. It put a $15.0 million fall in other income mainly on a net fair value remeasurement loss of $20.4 million on investments in non-marketable equity securities.1516171819202122232425

AppLovin also reported adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure of its own that sits outside US accounting rules and added back items such as interest, income taxes, depreciation, amortization and stock-based compensation: $1.2 billion against $647.0 million. In October 2025 the board authorized a $3.2 billion increase to the share repurchase program, and about $3.3 billion remained available at Oct 31, 2025. In its Nov 5, 2025 earnings release, the company guided to fourth-quarter 2025 revenue of $1.57 billion to $1.60 billion, a forecast made that day.262728293031

Our records hold revenue, operating income, net income and diluted earnings per share for the quarter. We hold the text of the filing's management discussion and nothing else of it, so what its notes say about the investments behind the $20.4 million loss is not read here. Our records keep one value for each period, the latest filed, so they cannot tell whether the year-earlier figures were restated.32332534
