Hotfix 1.4.2 for Control Resonant appeared in the Steam announcements of the game on Oct 8, 2026. Its notes called it a hotfix for issues brought by game update 1.4.0, and listed a fix for a quest in which Zoe went missing, preventing quest progression. They also listed a fix for a side quest that did not award its Artifact reward, and a method to give that reward to players who had completed the quest, as long as they had not yet entered New Game +.
