War Thunder update 2.59.0.68 adds native ARM support on Windows
Gaijin Entertainment's update also fixes a PlayStation 5 Pro crash with ray tracing enabled, and its notes say Hürtgen and Grave Robbers’ Cliffs are temporarily out of the Air Battles rotation.
War Thunder's update 2.59.0.68 adds native support for ARM processors to the Windows version of the game, according to notes that Gaijin Entertainment posted on Steam on Oct 15. Gaijin Entertainment develops and publishes the game.1,2,3,4
The update also fixes a bug that crashed the game on PlayStation 5 Pro when ray tracing was enabled. A bug in the Microsoft Store version that kept frame generation, ray reconstruction and FSR from working is fixed too. The studio also removed the ability to enable VR together with ray tracing options, which the notes call incompatible.5,6,7
Under locations and missions, the notes say Hürtgen (all missions) and Grave Robbers’ Cliffs are temporarily out of the Air Battles rotation, pending a bug fix. In test flight, a bug that made some objects float in the air in the “Middle East. Mediterranean” and “Eastern Europe. Winter” locations is fixed.8,9
The studio says its patch notes reflect only key changes and may not be a complete list of the improvements made.10
